AMOG Wins at Monash Business Awards
AMOG has been awarded the 2010/11 Monash Business of the Year.
AMOG was presented the award for Business of the Year at the Monash Business Awards held at the Wheelers Hill International on Friday July 29th. Managing Director and company founder Dr Andrew Potts (pictured below accepting the award) said that the company has enjoyed its long affiliation with the City of Monash.
AMOG has been headquartered in Notting Hill, adjacent to Monash University, since 1991 and continues to employ engineers from the local area as well as from around the country and overseas. ‘My connections to the City of Monash go back a long way’ he said in a statement. ‘The Monash University connection made the City of Monash a great place to grow a business like AMOG’.

Purpose and Vision
The Monash Business Awards (MBA) aims to promote business success and excellence through the recognition of significant achievements and innovations. Awards nominees make a presentation to guests at regular business functions, which also host a keynote speaker. These events provide business people with the opportunity to meet, exhange ideas and discuss current issues.
History and Background
The Monash Business Awards (MBA) was established in 1994 by a small group of senior executives from private sector organisations and local government. This group of 10 people became the "Executive Committee" of the MBA.
Audience
The MBA gathers together representatives from over 150 businesses and schools in the City of Monash. Some of the most senior members of the Monash business community are regular attendees, as well as the Mayor, CEO, Councillors and senior management of the City of Monash.
