AMOG maintains a policy of including a number of Non-Executive Directors on its Board, including the role of Chairman being filled by a Non-Executive, to provide independent oversight of the Company's activities. These Non-Executive Directors also provide valuable expertise and insights drawn from their previous careers from industry, government or academia.
Dr. Donald Charrett

Donald Charrett joined the board of AMOG as a Director in
August 2010 and assumed the role of Chairman in December 2011. His career as a structural engineer spanned over 30 years.
He currently practices as a barrister, arbitrator and mediator in the
field of engineering and construction law.
During his early years in consulting engineering at Irwin Johnson and Partners he was engaged in
structural design of buildings and was in charge of computer
applications. Donald then spent 24 years at Hardcastle and Richards
involved in structural design and design management of a variety of
industrial and architectural projects including buildings, bridges,
industrial and special structures including offshore platforms. As
Commercial Manager he was responsible for contract review and the
commercial aspects of joint ventures and overseas projects.
His first years in the law were spent in the construction group of a major
firm of solicitors. He is an accredited FIDIC trainer, a Founding and
Board Member of the Society of Construction Law of Australia, on the
Committee of the Dispute Resolution Board of Australasia, and is the
first chairman of Melbourne TEC Chambers. Dr. Charrett has published
widely on legal and engineering subjects, and presented papers at
engineering and legal conferences and seminars in Australia and
internationally. He is a joint author, with Philip Loots, of "Practical
Guide to Engineering and Construction Contracts", published by CCH in
2009.

Dr. Potts founded Australian Marine & Offshore Group, now trading as AMOG Consulting, in 1992. Andrew holds the ongoing role of Executive Director and is the Chief Executive Officer of AMOG Holdings Pty. Ltd. Andrew is extensively involved with the offshore oil and gas sector on projects relating to hydrodynamic loading and response of fixed and floating offshore structures and ships, submarine pipelines or highly flexible systems such as moorings or flexible risers. This work involves advanced numerical and finite element analyses, and ranges from development of design criteria and concept engineering, through to detailed design of various aspects of facilities, structures, operations and installations. His skills in project management and technical engineering across many disciplines, often see him engaged to provide specialist advice in legal cases, project management, specification development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation and assessment of contract deliverables. Andrew is an authority in the area of steel wire ropes and fibre rope systems used in marine applications.

Dan Washington is a Director of AMOG and was AMOG Consulting's General Manager before being appointed Managing Director in 2012. Prior to joining AMOG, Dan served for 9 years as a Weapons Electrical Engineer Officer in the Royal Australian Navy in a range of operational, project and training roles. After joining AMOG in 2003, in 2004 Dan was appointed as an Associate Director, predominantly engaged in the area of System Safety and the development of Safety Cases for military capabilities. Dan has undertaken System
Safety Studies across a range of platforms, facilities and systems
including; ANZAC Frigates, Collins Class Submarines, FFG Frigates,
patrol boats, amphibious vessels, landing craft, fleet oilers and
tankers, missile systems, radar systems, sonar systems and torpedoes.
Dan has also had significant involvement in decision support activities
and project risk management reviews for both Defence and floating
offshore facilities.

Dr. Paul Sincock is the Technical Director of AMOG Consulting. Paul joined the AMOG Board in 1995 as an Associate Director and was appointed as a Director in 1999. As Technical Director, Paul's particular area of interest is the naval architecture/hydrodynamics and failure investigation /expert witness activities of the Company. Paul joined AMOG in 1994 from the specialist offshore consultancy MSL. Prior to this, he worked for another specialist offshore consultancy, Bomel before that as a research fellow at University College London, where he was involved in joint industry studies on the hydrodynamics of floating offshore structures. He has 25 years experience in naval architecture, hydrodynamics and structural/mechanical engineering. This experience has been gained both from consulting on projects in Australia and SE Asia, the North Sea, US West Coast and the Gulf of Mexico, for a wide range of clients.

Chris Carra joined the AMOG Board as an Associate Director in 2002 and was appointed as a Director in 2005. In 2012, Chris was appointed Chairman of AMOG Consulting Inc. Before joining AMOG, he held senior positions at BHP Billiton in the Petroleum Division (BHPB) in both the project engineering and strategic planning areas and has over 20 years of offshore experience. Chris has had wide exposure to the international oil industry through BHPB. In particular, he's made major contributions to the conceptual design of BHPB's floating production systems, being involved in major projects such as Challis, Skua, Griffin, Dai Hung, Neptune and Buffalo. Recently Chris has held management roles at AMOG for conceptual, FEED and detail design of riser and mooring systems, where he has been involved in Maari, Woollybutt, Pyrenees, Stybarrow, Basker Manta, Crux, IGB2, Montara, Audacious, Angostura, Port Cabrillo and Mutineer/Exeter as well as several other confidential FPSO projects.

Dr Bill Schofield AM worked in the Department of Defence [DSTO] for 37 years rising to be the director of the Aeronautical and Maritime Research Laboratories with the remit to supply all science and technology services to the Navy and the Air force. The laboratory consisted of 1000 scientists and engineers divided into 6 divisions. Before that he held the position of First Assistant Secretary Science Policy of the Defence Department in Canberra where he was responsible in negotiating all S&T outcomes with the ADF and the Defence Materiel Organisation. During this time he had considerable exposure to the political process in Canberra. Since retiring from the department he has worked for 16 defence related companies ranging from the largest to the smallest and has conducted 10 reviews for various arms of government and industry. The most important of these reviews was the Kinnaird Review of defence procurement practices in the Australian Defence Department, of which Dr Schofield was a co-author. Bill was recently engaged by DSTO to contribute to the work being done for the new Defence White Paper.

Mr Widmer is the Principal of the boutique consulting firm Palliser Group which specialises in energy, corporate sectretariat and governance, and financial management services. He is a director and company secretary and joined AMOG in Holdings Pty. Ltd. in 2012. He has extensive board and executive commercial experience in upstream oil and gas exploitation in Australia, Asia and the Americas as well as in the infrastructure and technology industry sectors. Mr Widmer's experience in energy project evaluation and analysis, business strategy, corporate governance, technology commercialisation, M&A and contract negotiations provide the basis for the demands for his consulting services in the Palliser Group.
Mr. Widmer is currently involved in the Australia Colombia Business Group and was previously the Victorian Vice-President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. He speaks Spanish and is a frequent visitor to both Colombia and Spain.

Craig joined AMOG in October 2009 and assumed full responsibility as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for all AMOG Group Companies in February 2010. Craig has over 20 years experience in the Senior Finance and Company Secretarial roles with a variety of small to medium sized businesses within the private sector and ASX listed environments. He has worked in Services, Manufacturing, Retail and FMCG sectors. Recently, Craig was running his own consulting practice specialising in Start-up businesses, Capital raisings and Business restructuring.

Andrew Thomson has been an Executive Director since December 2011 and is currently the Head of the Marine and Infrastructure group with AMOG Consulting. Andrew joined AMOG in April 2007 as a Principal Engineer and was the Head of the Marine Structures Group. He was appointed as an Associate Director in December 2007. Prior to joining AMOG Andrew has had 27 years of Project and Design Engineering experience covering Maritime, Defence and Infrastructure sectors. This experience has included Senior Engineering and Project Management roles with the prime contractors on the Royal Australian Navy ANZAC Ship Project, the Melbourne City Link Project and Royal New Zealand Navy Project Protector. In his current role at AMOG Andrew has been involved in leading Projects for the Defence sector in the forensic review of marine craft structural failures, for the Marine aspects of the pre-feasibility study for the BHP Billiton Olympic Dam Expansion as well as the review and audit of an FPSO conversion for a confidential Oil Industry client.

Chris Van Berendonck has been an Executive Director since December 2011 and is currently the Head of the Safety Engineering group with AMOG Consulting. He has extensive engineering experience covering the Aerospace and Maritime sectors in both Defence and Civilian disciplines. He is a specialist System Safety and Certification Practitioner having refined his skill set over nearly two decades as an avionics system designer, a system safety practitioner in aviation and marine, a Defence aerospace regulator, a system safety and certification manager in Defence maritime and more recently as a specialist consultant to Defence and civilian industry. Chris is particularly skilled in software safety and software assurance.

Andrew Kilner is Vice President and the General Manager of AMOG Consulting's Houston office. His responsibilities include managing the day-to-day running of the Houston office as well as Business Development for the Gulf of Mexico and West Africa regions. Andrew joined AMOG Consulting (Melbourne) in 1995 as a Junior Engineer. He assumed his current position as General Manager of the Houston office in 2006. Over more than 15 years of service at AMOG he has developed considerable expertise in advanced numerical analyses and scale model tank testing of the hydrodynamic loading and response of dynamic offshore systems, including spread moorings, floating loading-hoses and flexible risers, CALM buoy and F(P)SO tanker hawser systems, and the on-bottom stability of subsea pipelines. Andrew has been involved in a number of field development studies in Australia and around the world. Some key projects include Vincent Enfield, Audacious, Stybarrow, Angostura, Mutineer/Exeter, Basker Manta, and Song Doc.

Dr Hayden Marcollo is a Director of AMOG Technologies (AMOG's R&D arm) and AMOG Consulting Inc. Hayden has a PhD in offshore engineering, and held a postdoctoral research position at M.I.T. which included both physical and numerical modelling of offshore riser systems. Hayden’s more recent experience includes design of floating systems including mooring and naval architecture aspects and project managing large FEED studies. Hayden is currently the Principal technical user support provider for all SHEAR7 (riser analysis software) users.

Tim joined AMOG Consulting in 2005 and is was the the 2IC of the Marine and Infrastructure group before becoming an Executive Director and Vice President of AMOG Consulting Inc in 2012. He is responsible for Civil maritime, Marine engineering, Pipeline engineering and Hydrodynamics in both the Commercial and Defence sectors. Notable projects which Tim has been involved with include:
- the design and testing of Berm systems for the protection of sub-sea pipelines and cables from anchor drag;
- selection and design of concrete mattress protection systems for ocean outfall pipelines;
- investigation of possible causes of damage to submarine power cables;
- design of the marine inlets and outfalls;
- the development of a numerical model of the near surface motions of a submarine due to wave actions;
- design and analysis of mooring and berthing systems for floating dock operations an accommodation vessels operation; and
- design and analysis of heavy weather mooring systems.
Prior to joining AMOG, Tim was employed by the Department of Defence, where he gained experience in marine engineering of systems for submarine and surface ship platforms. In particular, Tim was involved with aspects of submarine manoeuvring, performing detailed analysis and modelling of emergency blowing recovery. Tim was also involved in acoustic signature management, general submarine platform mechanical engineering analysis and product assurance in support of submarine maintenance and sustainment.

Cherie Holland is an Associate Director of AMOG Consulting and 2IC of the Safety Engineering group. Cherie joined AMOG in 2005 and has worked across a variety of projects providing expertise in technical analysis, system safety engineering, functional safety engineering and health hazard assessments. Previously, Cherie was employed in the aerospace industry in the USA and has experience in structural design and analysis. Cherie has particular proficiency in the technical aspects of functional and system safety engineering, including the areas of hazard identification, environmental and operational risk, use of Codes of Practice and Standards, and qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. She also acts in the capacity of specialist advisor and consultant for major hazard facility and explosive ordnance risk management.
